Looking for pottery gifts with a bit of personality? You’re in the right place! Everything here is made by me in my little garden studio in Suffolk. Nearly all of it is hand built, one make at a time, so no two ever come out quite the same.
That’s what makes them such good handmade gifts. Most of my makes have a name and a mood of their own, and I never quite know who’s going to come out of the kiln looking smug, startled or delighted with itself!
Most are one of a kind, so whoever unwraps one gets a little friend nobody else has. I couldn’t make the same one twice if I tried, and I don’t take custom orders either.

Pottery gifts by budget
Little treats under £10
My smallest ceramic gifts are the Thumblings and Mini Monster Moods, my pocket sized mini clay monsters, and now and then a little trinket dish.
Gifts under £20
Lots of my little friends live here: ghost figurines, cat and owl ornaments, ceramic mushrooms, pumpkins and the deeper trinket dishes.
Gifts under £50
A bit more clay and a lot more patience! Most of my dog ornaments sit here, along with some of the bigger animals and the smaller clay monsters.
Something special, £50 and over
My biggest makes can take days to build: the big clay monsters, the fairy houses and the larger ceramic animals. Just the thing for a big birthday, or someone who deserves a proper treat.
Who’s the present for?
Handmade gifts for her, for him, for the cat person, the dog person or the friend who has everything. Here’s where I’d look.
For cat lovers
The Meowingtons are a whole band of singing cattos. Just like real cats, they’d much rather be warm and dry indoors! Say hello to all my cat ornaments.
For dog lovers
Such good doggos! Each of my dog ornaments is a one-off with a personality all of its own. Even the name Henroo comes partly from the family dog!
For owl fans
The Owlets hold their own parliament, and every name starts with an O! My owl ornaments are about 8 to 10 cm tall, just right for a bookshelf or a windowsill.
For animal lovers
The rest of my ceramic animals live in Sculptures, from little ones for a windowsill to much bigger makes.
For someone who likes things a bit odd
I’ve got you covered! There are clay monster figurines in all shapes and moods, mini clay monsters for a pocket or a desk, ghost figurines dressed up for a party and ceramic mushrooms and toadstools with faces of their own.
For the bedside or dressing table
My trinket dishes are little homes for rings, studs and whatever you take off at the end of the day. Some carry a love note and some have cheeky words on them! They’re food safe too, and so are the bowls. The wooden stand in the photos isn’t included.
For a 9th wedding anniversary

For the home
My ceramic fairy houses make a lovely home for your little treasures, and some are made to glow with a tea light. Each house’s page says whether it can. My little ceramic pumpkins and bowls are here too.
Handmade stocking fillers
The Thumblings are about 5 cm tall and fit in a pocket, so they make brilliant stocking fillers. With the Mini Monster Moods you choose one, three or five, and I pick the moods, so nobody knows who’s coming! They’re ornaments, not toys, so not really one for young children.

When will my gift arrive?
Please allow 3 to 5 working days for your order to be wrapped up in lots of recycled packaging and posted, then it travels UK Tracked 48. I can only post within the UK for now. For Christmas delivery, order by 16 December! There’s more on my shipping page.
