Nine years married? Happy anniversary! Pottery is the traditional gift for a 9th wedding anniversary, so you’re in the right place.
Everything here is made by me in my little garden studio in Suffolk. Nearly all of it is hand built, one make at a time, so whoever unwraps one gets a little friend nobody else has.
Why is pottery the 9th anniversary gift?
The story goes that clay starts out soft and gets shaped over the years, then comes out of the fire strong enough to last. Just like a good marriage! Willow is the other traditional gift for nine years, but I’m sticking with clay.

Can you personalise a piece?
I’m afraid I don’t take custom orders, and I couldn’t make the same one twice if I tried! But that’s the lovely thing. Every make is one of a kind, so it’s theirs and nobody else’s.
How long will delivery take?
Please allow 3 to 5 working days for your order to be wrapped up and posted, then it travels UK Tracked 48. I can only post within the UK for now. There’s more on my shipping page.
How do I look after it?
Nearly everything I make is stoneware, so they’re tough little things. There’s more in my clay and care guide.
